Sharon Angle - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Sharon Angle earned her real estate license 18 years ago and has worked at Kurfiss SIR for most of that time. Before a career in sales, Angle worked for her local zoning and hearing board. She brings a unique understanding of zoning law to her business. She also mentors newer realtors in her office. At this special time in her life she is enjoying being a grandparent. Travel, theater and golf are favorite pastimes.

Carole Barocca - New Hope/Bucks County Office

After earning her B.F.A. degree in Interior Design from Moore College of Art & Design, Carole Barocca followed her interest designing corporate interiors. She lived in Florence, Italy, for a time and speaks some Italian. In 2006 Barocca obtained real estate licenses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and now enjoys selling beautiful homes. Karen Barone - Philadelphia/Center City Office

Nancy Bousum - New Hope/Bucks County Office

An Associate Broker in PA and NJ for 30 years, Nancy Bousum was a partner/owner of a New Hope real estate firm before joining Kurfiss in 2000. Michael Hayes - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Mike Hayes has been a licensed real-estate agent since 1989. He began his career as a model in New York City, working in print and traveling to Europe on assignment. James Pearsall - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Jim Pearsall opened his first French restaurant at the very young age of 16 and was immediately given the attention of worldwide press after New York Times food editor Craig Claiborne raved about Jim’s restaurant, “Hill House.” In a full-page article, Claiborne gave it his highest rating – certainly making Pearsall the youngest chef ever to have earned that honor. Donald Pearson - Company Chairman

Donald Pearson, owner and Chairman of Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Real Estate, is an international businessman and entrepreneur. A graduate of Brown University, he earned the Samuel T. Arnold Fellowship award. With the sponsorship of Thomas Watson of IBM, Pearson traveled and studied in Central America for one year. In 1967 he acquired an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and spent the next four years with the State Department in Brazil working in capital management and development. Pearson married a Brazilian and has two children. He is fluent in Portuguese. From 1971 to 1976 he worked for the EVP - Brasilia Final Conglomerate Nacional Brasiliero in Rio de Janeiro. He served as chairman of Midland Montague, Ltd., and Midland Bank of London during which time the bank held the third largest foreign bank presence in Brazil. He was also president of Samuel Montague London Merchant Bank, a local investment, banking and leasing company. In 1991 Pearson purchased Kurfiss Real Estate which at the time had one office in New Hope, Pa., and about 10 Realtors. Today the company has locations in New Hope, Main Line Philadelphia and Center City Philadelphia, and has a sales force of about 60 real estate agents. Pearson joined the Sotheby’s International Realty network in August 2006. The following year he formed a Venture Capital Partnership in Brazil, International Venture Partners (IVP) which was transformed into TWW Wireless, located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Carol Plesser - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Carol Plesser, presently a referral agent for the company, has lived in Bucks County for more than 30 years and has a keen appreciation for its history, culture, charm and beauty. As a former high school English teacher and market researcher, she brings strong organizational and communication skills and internet savvy to her work. Growing up, Plesser lived all over the United States and in France, attending 10 different schools in 12 years. In college Kevin Steiger pursued a business degree and later worked as a stockbroker and a travel agent. He obtained New Jersey and Pennsylvania real estate licenses in 2002.
