Kurfiss SIR AGENT BIOS

Sharon Angle - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Sharon Angle earned her real estate license 18 years ago and has worked at Kurfiss SIR for most of that time. Before a career in sales, Angle worked for her local zoning and hearing board. She brings a unique understanding of zoning law to her business. She also mentors newer realtors in her office. At this special time in her life she is enjoying being a grandparent. Travel, theater and golf are favorite pastimes.

Troy Putt-Baker - Vice Chairman

Troy Putt-Baker joined Kurfiss Real Estate in 1992 as a PA Licensed Realtor. Previously he was Associate Executive Director of Lighthouse International, a New York City-based agency serving the needs of people with declining vision. Putt-Baker earned his Master of Arts degree in mass communications in 1968. He taught communications and coached debate at the University of North Dakota and the College of the Virgin Islands. While at Kurfiss SIR, Putt-Baker has held positions as manager of rentals, director of sales and marketing, manager of operations and now vice chairman. Putt-Baker handles community relationships, corporate giving and the referral program. He has lived in Bucks County since 1985 and at one time owned and operated a bed and breakfast in Upper Bucks.

Carole Barocca - New Hope/Bucks County Office

After earning her B.F.A. degree in Interior Design from Moore College of Art & Design, Carole Barocca followed her interest designing corporate interiors. She lived in Florence, Italy, for a time and speaks some Italian. In 2006 Barocca obtained real estate licenses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and now enjoys selling beautiful homes. Currently she is studying for advance certifications in real estate and plans to sit for her associate broker's exam in the near future.

Karen Barone - Philadelphia/Center City Office

Based in Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty’s Center City Philadelphia office, Karen Barone is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has the distinction of having helped David Kurfiss open his real estate brokerage in New Hope, Pa., in the 1980s. She has also held positions in restaurant management, public relations and marketing. Barone resides in New Jersey and has a daughter and two grandsons.

Peter Dorrance Beyea - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Peter Beyea has been a Realtor for seven years and has the added experience of having owned a mortgage company. With a bachelor's degree in business and a background in sales and home financing he is equipped to offer unique counsel and enhanced service to his clients. Beyea volunteers for his church and enjoys sailing, the beach, crossword puzzles and gardening in his spare time. Beyea was a Top 10 Kurfiss SIR agent in 2007.

Nancy Bousum - New Hope/Bucks County Office

An Associate Broker in PA and NJ for 30 years, Nancy Bousum was a partner/owner of a New Hope real estate firm before joining Kurfiss in 2000. A Top 10 Kurfiss SIR agent in 2007, she embraces the benefits technology has brought to the industry and recently earned her ePro certification. A conservationist at heart, Bousum serves on the board of trustees for the Tinicum Conservancy and previously tutored inmates in Decision Making for VITA. Her love of the outdoors is evident in her time spent bicycling and skiing and pursuit of sustainable gardening.

John Brown - Philadelphia/Center City Office

A certified sports agent and seasoned real estate professional with experience in residential transactions and commercial sales and exchanges, John Brown brings a wealth of marketing talent to Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty’s Center City Philadelphia office. Brown earned an associate's degree in multimedia/web design and is on the executive committee for fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Bradley Bux - New Hope/Bucks County Office

A graduate of Lehigh University, Brad Bux has a degree in Urban Studies. After college he worked as a financial analyst for the Westrum Development Company. For nearly four years, Bux has been in real estate sales in central Bucks County where he also lives. He holds the New Homes Sales Certification. Bux maintains a second home in Highland Beach, Florida, and enjoys fishing, international travel, fine automobiles and power boats.

Hellen Cannon - New Hope/Bucks County Office

With an artistic spirit and high energy, Hellen Cannon pursued a degree in art and physical education. Teaching was her first career. While raising her family, Cannon and her husband lived in eight states. Upon settling in Bucks County, Cannon applied her creativity and love of meeting people to real estate sales. Having been in the business 30+ years, she has guided some customers through multiple purchases. Cannon was a Top 10 Agent at Kurfiss SIR in 2007 as well as in previous years.

Bruno Cesarone - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Philadelphia native Bruno Cesarone graduated from Temple University. He pursued a career in visual merchandising and sales, was a successful restaurant owner in New Hope, Pa., and then acquired his real estate license some twelve years ago. He is active in both residential and commercial sales in central Bucks County. An avid traveler, Cesarone lived abroad in Rome and Porto Ercole, Italy. He hopes to establish a home in Mexico next. He is also a music lover.

Jennifer Chicano - Philadelphia/Center City Office

A native Philadelphian and licensed realtor since 2002, Jennifer focuses on residential and commercial real estate in Center City Philadelphia and neighboring Delaware and Montgomery Counties. Her main goal is customer satisfaction -- listening to clients and servicing their needs. She is a graduate of Temple University's Real Estate Institute and is currently studying for her broker's license. Chicano has lived in South Philadelphia her entire life and is very happy to be part of the neighborhood's exciting period of growth.

Eric Coldren - Philadelphia/Center City Office

Eric Coldren earned his B.S. degree in Health Care Policy and Administration from Pennsylvania State University. For a time he worked in management at the highly regarded Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. A young entrepreneur, Coldren acquired a Pennsylvania real estate license and began investing in his own projects in Philadelphia and in New Jersey. He is now pursuing a Pennsylvania broker's license and a license to sell real estate in New Jersey.

Todd Crittenden - Philadelphia/Center City Office

With more than three years' experience in the booming Washington, D.C., real-estate market, Todd Crittenden has a discerning eye for detail and a thorough understanding of new construction and materials. Now based in the Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty’s Center City Philadelphia office, Crittenden understands the market and marketing, offering his clients guidance so they can make well-informed decisions. Crittenden earned a B.S. degree in psychology and business from Ithaca College.

Jackie Crocetti - Bethlehem/Lehigh Valley Office

A former nurse who now balances teaching nursing with a busy real-estate practice, Jackie Crocetti has helped quite a few buyers and sellers with their Lehigh Valley and Bucks County real-estate transactions. A resident of Upper Bucks, Jackie and her husband have two children.

Beth Danese - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Born in Texas, Beth Danese earned a B.A. degree in English. For a time she served as an operations manager for UBS Financial. Recently married, Danese obtained her Pennsylvania real estate license and is now selling in central Bucks County. In her spare time she volunteers for local cultural organizations. Other hobbies include cooking, travel and dogs.

Jim Fingleton - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Licensed as a Pennsylvania Realtor for more than 10 years, Jim Fingleton also has a B.A. degree in electrical engineering. Prior to real estate sales he was in corporate management. Kelly Forte - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Kelly Forte used her degree in fine art as base for a career as a landscape and pool designer. She later worked in sales and marketing in the health care and fitness industry. She obtained her real estate license about a year ago and also earned the Home Staging Accreditation. Forte enjoys interior design and gardening and relishes time spent with her husband and two children.

A former teacher, Ginger Griffith holds a B.A. degree in liberal arts. She obtained her real estate license 24 years ago and has also earned her certification from the Graduate Realtor Institute. Among the positive changes in real estate Griffiths has seen over the years, the influence of the Internet ranks first. She applauds KSIR for being proactive and a leader in the industry. In her free time Griffith enjoys travel, golf and swimming.

Lorraine Gross - New Hope/Bucks County Office

With an M.B.A. degree in health planning and administration, Lorraine Gross worked as a health care consultant before acquiring her license to sell real estate in Pennsylvania and New Jersey three years ago. Internet capabilities, the Sotheby's affiliation and global marketing materials helped to lure her to Kurfiss SIR. Gross has lived in the central Bucks community most of her life. Fly fishing, gardening and antiques occupy her time when she is not selling real estate.

David Harrington - Wayne/Main Line Office

David Harrington brings 20 years of experience as a real estate professional on the Main Line. He left Prudential Fox Roach to join Kurfiss SIR in 2002 because he preferred our brokerage’s client-focused approach to real estate. Harrington enjoys time on the golf course and has had the privilege of playing many times at the storied Merion Golf Club as well as at many fine courses throughout the U.S. and Scotland.

Toni Harrison - Wayne/Main Line Office

A resident of Philadelphia, Antoinette (Toni) Harrison believes her life experience as an entrepreneur empowers her real estate career. A graduate of Temple University, Harrison worked as an international flight attendant for 22 years, and served as chief executive officer of the International Finishing School for Girls on Philadelphia’s Main Line. Currently she serves on the Advisory Board of Chestnut Hill College. Accomplished in both residential and commercial real estate, she continues her studies in commercial real estate and real estate investment.

Agnete Huestis - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Born in Denmark, Agnete Huestis speaks Danish and French in addition to English. Her first career was in nursing. She has also worked as an interpreter and traveled widely. Huestis obtained her real estate license more than 30 years ago; she is also an associate broker. Her interests range from gardening to Danish, French and English literature, music and art. Huestis cites excellent marketing, support services and photography as the major changes in the real estate industry.

Lynda Ivarsson - Bethlehem/Lehigh Valley Office

Lynda Ivarsson, a former nurse, lived and worked in Massachusetts before relocating to the Lehigh Valley. About a year ago Ivarsson obtained her real estate license and joined Kurfiss SIR. She is active as a volunteer for St. Luke's Hospital and Moravian Academy, a private school in Bethlehem, Pa. Cooking, sewing, antiques and golf are some of her favorite pastimes.

Diane Johnston - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Before earning her real estate license some five years ago, Diane Johnston worked as a consultant in business development and strategic planning. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics. Johnston has lived in Bucks County for 13 years, is active in her local historical society and loves to garden. She was drawn to Kurfiss SIR because of its brand recognition, its marketing materials and its quality agents. Johnston was a Top 10 Agent at Kurfiss SIR in 2007.

Melodie Kahr - Philadelphia/Center City Office

Melodie Kahr pursued a degree in fashion merchandising & interior design. She worked as an editor of Glamour magazine and Director of Public Relations for Geoffrey Beene and Pierre Cardin. Kahr holds an associate broker license in New York and Pennsylvania and is also licensed to sell real estate in New Jersey. Fluent in French and Italian, she lived previously in Switzerland, Italy & New York City. Her hobbies include yoga, Pilates, travel & art. Linda Krick Danese - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Linda Danese is Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty’s Broker of Record and a full time sales associate in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She has worked in the industry for 24 years, 13 of those years at Kurfiss SIR. Danese is also a Registered Dietician with a B.S. degree in nutrition. A longtime resident of Bucks County, Danese has earned repeat business from a loyal client base. Her part time pursuits include family, golf, exercise and needlepoint. David Levi Krupp - Philadelphia/Center City Office

David Levi Krupp is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. degree in Information Systems. He earned minors in both business and architecture. In his early work career Krupp was a strategy and technology consultant to the U. S. military. He also worked as a project manager n real estate development. He is now a licensed Realtor working in the greater Philadelphia area on residential and commercial listings.

Daniel Leuzzi - New Hope/Bucks County Office

A former air traffic controller, Dan Leuzzi has practiced real estate for more than 30 years and has the distinction of being the longest-serving Realtor with Kurfiss SIR, having worked for David Kurfiss beginning in the 1980s. He is a native of Philadelphia and has lived in the New Hope area for more than 30 years. Leuzzi appreciates historic architecture, and for 13 years he served on the New Hope Architectural Review Board, chairing the Board for five years. Leuzzi understands and speaks Italian and enjoys classical music, jazz, art and travel. Janet Marchione - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Janet Marchione is an associate broker licensed in both Pennsylvania and NJ. She spent most of her career in central Bucks, but left briefly to live in Aspen, Colorado. Now back in Bucks County she continues practicing real estate. Marchione holds a BS degree in English and psychology and teaches life skills at the Women's Recovery Center. Her other loves are nine grandchildren, horses, tennis and yoga. 'Success,' she says, 'depends on integrity and being the best informed that you can be'.

Peggy McBride Dean - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Having lived in Bucks County all her life, Peggy McBride Dean, knows and loves the area. She has over 20 years experience as a Realtor and is licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Formerly a director with American Express, Dettrick Morrell now applies his sales and marketing expertise in real estate. “Having worked in corporate America,” Morrell says, “name recognition was important to me. Jonathan Nguyen - Philadelphia/Center City Office

Prior to joining Kurfiss SIR, Jonathan D. Nguyen served as Vice President/Partner for the development firm Metropolis Management, LLC, a structured financial analyst at Arbor Commercial Mortgage, LLC, and a real estate financial analyst at Credit Suisse Group. Mr. Nguyen is a graduate of the State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton and also studied at the Real Estate Institute of New York. Nguyen is an active member of the Urban Land Institute's Young Leaders Group in Philadelphia, NAR, GPAR, and Chaminade Wall St. Association. In his spare time, he enjoys writing fiction/poetry, playing piano, museums, b & w photography and traveling.

Karen Nicolini - Philadelphia/Center City Office

A native of Philadelphia, Karen Nicolini has lived and worked all over the city. After graduating from Dartmouth College, she lived in Manhattan for 10 years, where she held positions in marketing and public relations. Nicolini began in real estate as an investor in multifamily properties. As a Realtor, she helps experienced and inexperienced sellers and buyers with a wide range of residential and commercial transactions. Nicolini enjoys cycling with local bike clubs and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, as well as with the Associated Services for the Blind as a radio narrator. Patrick Pastella - Philadelphia/Center City Office

Originally from upstate New York, Patrick Pastella came to Philadelphia to study at the renowned Curtis Institute of Music. He eventually obtained a real estate license and worked for a large Philadelphia real estate brokerage. A resident of Naval Square in Center City, Pastella joined Kurfiss SIR in February 2008 and is off to a strong start on the listing and sales side.

Valerie Patterson - Director of Marketing

Valerie Patterson oversees all online and print marketing efforts at Kurfiss SIR, including media planning, web-site content, event planning and direct mail. Prior to joining Kurfiss she worked at Dow Jones & Co. Inc. and was the producer of The Wall Street Journal Online’s free real-estate site. While at Dow Jones she was a frequent guest on CNBC, CNN, and FOX News. She holds an M.A. degree in speech communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

James Pearsall - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Jim Pearsall opened his first French restaurant at the very young age of 16 and was immediately given the attention of worldwide press after New York Times food editor Craig Claiborne raved about Jim’s restaurant, “Hill House.” In a full-page article, Claiborne gave it his highest rating – certainly making Pearsall the youngest chef ever to have earned that honor. After graduating from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and working at the three-star La Taillevent in Paris, France, Pearsall returned to the United States to open two more restaurants in northeastern Pennsylvania, where he met his wife, and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Pearsall serves on the Board of Parks and Recreation for Upper Makefield Township in Bucks County and is an active sailor who regularly competes in classic yacht regattas. Donald Pearson - Company Chairman

Donald Pearson, owner and Chairman of Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Real Estate, is an international businessman and entrepreneur. A graduate of Brown University, he earned the Samuel T. Arnold Fellowship award. With the sponsorship of Thomas Watson of IBM, Pearson traveled and studied in Central America for one year. In 1967 he acquired an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and spent the next four years with the State Department in Brazil working in capital management and development. Pearson married a Brazilian and has two children. He is fluent in Portuguese. From 1971 to 1976 he worked for the EVP - Brasilia Final Conglomerate Nacional Brasiliero in Rio de Janeiro. He served as chairman of Midland Montague, Ltd., and Midland Bank of London during which time the bank held the third largest foreign bank presence in Brazil. He was also president of Samuel Montague London Merchant Bank, a local investment, banking and leasing company. In 1991 Pearson purchased Kurfiss Real Estate which at the time had one office in New Hope, Pa., and about 10 Realtors. Today the company has locations in New Hope, Main Line Philadelphia, center city Philadelphia and in Bethlehem, Pa., and has a sales force of about 75 real estate agents. Pearson joined the Sotheby’s International Realty network in August 2006. The following year he formed a Venture Capital Partnership in Brazil, International Venture Partners (IVP) which was transformed into TWW Wireless, located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Pearson continues to serve as chairman of this text messaging and paging corporation. Pearson is active in various positions in Sotheby’s International Realty and Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate. Kurfiss SIR is a leader in its primary markets in high-end real estate and has the most visited boutique real-estate web site in it market areas. He is frequently asked to speak at real estate conferences in the U.S. and abroad.

Carol Plesser - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Carol Plesser has lived in Bucks County for more than 30 years and has a keen appreciation for its history, culture, charm and beauty. As a former high school English teacher and market researcher, she brings strong organizational and communication skills and internet savvy to her work. Growing up, Plesser lived all over the United States and in France, attending 10 different schools in 12 years. These experiences give her first-hand knowledge of the stresses and challenges of relocating families. Plesser also enjoys gardening, reading, collecting antique maps and china, and exploring the Delaware River and Cape Cod Bay in her run-about, motorboat. Her greatest pleasure in working at Kurfiss SIR is representing one of the world’s premier brands and collaborating with her highly professional colleagues.

Susan Ravenscroft - Wayne/Main Line Office

With an M.B.A. in finance, a career in banking, plus a second career as Auction House Regional Director for one of the major auction houses, Susan Ravenscroft has embarked on another adventure. Ravenscroft obtained her real estate license nearly four years ago and joined Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty’s Main Line office. As a lifelong resident of Philadelphia's Main Line, she knows the area's real estate well and has acquired a wonderful network of friends and business associates. She is also fluent in Spanish.

Michael Richardson - Bethlehem/Lehigh Valley Office

A resident of the Lehigh Valley, Mike Richardson has been licensed to sell real estate for three years. He is also a student pursuing a degree in computer science and real estate & urban development. His hobbies include dogs, guitar, skiing and golf. Cary Simons - New Hope/Bucks County Office

Born and raised in Bucks County, Cary Simons earned a B.F.A. degree in graphic design and marketing from West Chester University in West Chester, Pa. Simons’s family is very involved in real estate: her father’s family is in residential and commercial construction/development, while her mother has 20 years’ experience as a successful real-estate agent. Simons previously handled marketing, graphic design, public relations and photography for an architecture/engineering firm, and that experience now informs her real-estate practice. She is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Sarah Stauffer - Bethlehem/Lehigh Valley Office

With a B.A. degree in economics from Connecticut College, Sarah Stauffer began her career in mortgage banking. She earned her Pennsylvania real-estate license in March 2006 and was a Top 10 Agent at Kurfiss SIR in 2007, the youngest agent ever to earn that distinction. Sarah has obtained her ABR, SRS, and Eco-Broker real estate designations. A lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley, Stauffer enjoys running and traveling. She has traveled extensively having visited all 50 states and dozens of countries.

Melanie Stecura - Philadelphia/Center City and Wayne Main Line Office

Melanie Stecura recently joined the Kurfiss SIR Philadelphia office. She acquired her real estate license in 2007. Stecura's background includes a B.A. degree in art history and studio art from the Redlands University in California. She sold fine art in New York City and managed two galleries in Breckenridge, Colorado. Stecura speaks English and Ukrainian fluently and has a working knowledge of Spanish, French, Russian and Polish. Other interests include food styling, catering and event planning.

Kevin Steiger - New Hope/Bucks County Office

In college Kevin Steiger pursued a business degree and later worked as a stockbroker and a travel agent. He obtained New Jersey and Pennsylvania real estate licenses four years ago. Currently he sells in both the Bucks County and Greater Philadelphia markets. Steiger volunteers for Central Bucks Audubon Society and MANNA. He collects casino chips and enjoys weight lifting and fitness. Steiger was a Top 10 Agent at Kurfiss SIR in 2007.

Pat Vida - Philadelphia/Center City Office

Pat Vida has had a career in nursing management and most recently served as Executive Director of Fitness and Wellness for the Fitness and Wellness Center by Doylestown Hospital. She also holds an M.B.A. in healthcare finance. Vida joined Kurfiss SIR within the last year but has lived and worked in the central Bucks community for 30 years. She is pursuing business in commercial and residential sales.

Megan Waits - Lehigh Valley & New Hope/Bucks County Office

A formal professional ice skater, Megan Waits is a relative newcomer to real estate, but her excellent instincts for the business are already apparent in several successful and smooth transactions. She resides in Upper Bucks with her husband and two children but knows other areas of Bucks County well.

Jason Wallace - Philadelphia/Center City Office

Jason Wallace assists clients from the Kurfiss Sotheby's International Realty Center City Philadelphia office. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Florida International University. He became a licensed Pennsylvania Realtor after moving to Philadelphia several years ago and looks forward to expanding his real-estate experience in the exciting Center City market.

Ginny Waters - New Hope/Bucks County Office

A former nurse and teacher of nursing, Ginny Waters has more than 20 years’ experience helping buyers and sellers in Bucks County. She was a Top 10 Agent at Kurfiss SIR in 2006 and 2007.
