The gardens at Honeystone on Philadelphia’s Main Line are romantic, indeed.

On March 15, 2013, Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty, the greater Philadelphia area’s exclusive Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate, will relaunch its flagship web site, Kurfiss.com. The redesign is completely focused on buyer and seller needs, helping buyers find and review properties and improving exposure for sellers on the site itself and in the all-important search engines.

Highlights include:

    • A flexible search and real-time results allow home buyers to find properties the way they prefer to search – by school district, city neighborhood, keyword, street name, ZIP code and other important criteria. Adding or subtracting search criteria to broaden or narrow results can be done with one click.

    • Kurfiss listings will be showcased with big, full-screen photos, and even non-Kurfiss listings from the multiple-listing service will appear with large-format photos. For sellers, this is key as research data prove that more photos and better quality photos translate to more views for those properties!

  • The web site will be easy to use regardless of whether one is on a tablet, laptop, desktop or smart phone. Home buyers can save their favorites in one click and receive notifications any time a new listing fits their requirements.

“We recognized early on that buyers were going to migrate to the web to find homes. This trend grows every year, and with this redesign we are able to meet buyers where they are, on whatever device they opt to use,” said Donald D. Pearson, chairman, Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty. “We also had our seller clients in mind and wanted a site to showcase their properties and offer them unmatched broad exposure.”

Users can tailor their site experience on the new Kurfiss.com and focus on a specific market, such as Bucks County, Philadelphia, the Main Line and select parts of New Jersey.

The home page will display a rotation of some of Kurfiss’s most striking homes and will be updated weekly. Each listing is accompanied by a slideshow, property prices translated into various currencies and as much or as little detail about the property as the user wants to see.
