On Nov. 4, 2016, Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty Chairman Donald Pearson will host a cocktail party at his home in New Hope to raise money for Lulu’s Rescue, a Bucks County-based dog rescue devoted to placing shelter dogs into permanent homes and providing low-cost spaying and neutering. Many agents and staff at Kurfiss SIR are pet owners and have rescued dogs and cats, Pearson’s most recent dog, Xena, was adopted from a New Jersey-based Great Dane rescue organization.

“The rewards of giving this beautiful creature a permanent home and seeing her blossom into a happy, carefree dog were tremendous,” said Pearson. “This first-hand experience made me a life-long believer in the benefits to both the animal and the owner of adopting from a rescue or shelter.”
