Lumberville PA Homes With A River View

A pathway of cobblestones from River Road lead the way to this charming county manor home. It was built in 1858 and refurbished meticulously over recent years with an eye to preserving the original architecture while providing the upgraded conveniences of modern day. This home was built to be admired. Walking from Bull Island in New Jersey to Pennsylvania across the pedestrian bridge, you are presented with a sideways glance of the Bridgeview Manor off in the distance. The front of the home is southern facing and bathed in the sun’s warmth throughout a sunny day. bridgeview-frontIt is just as warm and comfortable inside this home during those chilly evenings and when Mother Nature is whipping up a storm. Ten foot ceilings, beautiful wood floors and spectacular millwork line most of the rooms throughout the house. There is a formal living room and dining room to entertain your visitors. Exposed beams overhead, quality wood work for the mantel and trim work make this room very special.

Just outside this room is the built in pool surrounded with brick and stone pavers. Beyond the pool are the barn and workshop. This view of the backyard from the patio is very special and one can spend a quiet morning reading a great book before tending to the gardens and tinkering on your latest project in the barn.bridgeview-backyard

The best view by far is from the the east facing patio where this home get’s its name. Looking out over the Delaware River from the comfort of your own furniture has a very calming and soothing effect.
