NEW HOPE, PA: Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty recently announced its top-performing agents for 2007. Donald D. Pearson, Kurfiss SIR chairman, cited the agents at a recent agency meeting at the Upper Makefield home of Linda Krick Danese, broker of record at Kurfiss SIR.
The top agents (in alphabetical order) are: Peter Dorrance Beyea, Nancy Bousum, Hellen Cannon, Linda Krick Danese, Diane Johnston, Dan Leuzzi, Michael Richardson, Sarah Stauffer, Kevin Steiger and Ginny Waters. All agents work in the company’s New Hope office, except Sarah Stauffer, who works in its Lehigh Valley office in Bethlehem.
Pearson acknowledged that 2007 was a trying year in which many agents had to work at least twice as hard to close sales. He also cited two agents in particular for their accomplishments: Linda Krick Danese, who is one of Bucks County’s most successful agents, and Sarah Stauffer, a relative newcomer to the real-estate business who has proven herself to be one of the most successful agents in the Lehigh Valley.
“Linda Krick Danese has almost uninterruptedly led sales for the past 10 years at Kurfiss and has distinguished herself in supporting the growth and development of Kurfiss throughout the years,” said Pearson. A licensed broker in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and an agent for 25 years, she has frequently been first or second in net earnings among all real-estate agents in Bucks County.
“This is a business to be taken seriously because for most people, their home is their most important investment,” said Danese. She enjoys representing clients in Bucks County because of the area’s many wonderful properties and people. “Many of my clients have turned into valued friends,” she added.
Sarah Stauffer has been an agent for just under two years and is also the Lehigh Valley’s first licensed Eco-Broker. Her recipe for success is simple: “I work every day. I return every phone call. I email. I make myself accessible. This business is about customer service,” said Stauffer, who hopes to earn her broker’s license as soon as she completes the requisite number of transactions and related coursework.
Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty is a privately owned real-estate firm with headquarters in New Hope, Pa., and additional offices on the Main Line, in Center City Philadelphia and in the Lehigh Valley. Its 80 agents serve the southeastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey areas.
