Kurfiss SIR Welcomes Patricia Royston

It is with great pleasure that Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty welcomes Patricia Royston to its Philadelphia office. Patricia is an outstanding professional and a tremendous addition to our Rittenhouse Square location, and she certainly will enhance our increasingly strong and visible presence in Center City.

Having grown up in the countryside of England, Patricia came to Philadelphia in 1979 for a brief visit. Thirty years later, she continues her love affair with the city that convinced her not to get back on the plane. She bought a little house on Rittenhouse Square, raised her daughter and 10 years ago began her real-estate career. She has never looked back and has proudly watched the city grow over the years, appreciating that amidst all this progress, each neighborhood has maintained its own particular village feel.

Patricia has consistently sold at the Platinum Level of Center City sales during the course of her career. She is well known for her sales of significant historical properties such as the Funston House and the McIlhenny Mansion – but equally says her first-time buyers give her great joy, especially when they have the first baby or adopt their first dog!

Patricia accepts the huge advantages that technology has provided for the purchase and sale of a property. She does, however, believe that the personal help of an agent cannot be replaced. Whether it is fluffing pillows, caring for the animals, looking for the best schools or providing extensive knowledge of the city itself, these services and more and invaluable, especially in these economic times. Lock Boxes and Appointment Centers are not in her vocabulary.
