Rittenhouse Square Office Welcomes Julie Derham

Julie Ann Derham, previously the administrative assistant in Kurfiss Sotheby's International's Philadelphia real estate office, has decided to make a career change and move into real-estate sales full time. She is currently licensed in Pennsylvania and is working towards her New Jersey real estate license. As a life-long Bryn Mawr, Pa., resident, Derham specializes in the Main Line, as well as in Center City Philadelphia residences.
In 2005, she graduated with a double major in print and broadcast journalism, with a minor in psychology, from Southern Methodist University in Dallas Texas. After graduation, she moved to Manhattan to pursue a career in luxury lifestyle public relations as an account manager for clients including the famed Tavern on the Green and Barton G of Miami.
Derham decided that she wanted to pursue a career in real estate and return to her roots in Pennsylvania. In 2007, she earned her Pennsylvania real estate license and worked as a sales agent in new construction for 10 Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. Derham joined Kurfiss SIR in 2008 as the Philadelphia office’s administrative assistant. After more than a year in this position, Derham has strengthened her knowledge of regional real estate and re-sale real estate transactions, building on her extensive knowledge of new construction and real estate pre-sales.
To relax, Derham enjoys traveling, cooking, skiing and spending time with her fiancé and bulldog. She is fluent in Spanish.
