Northern Liberties has been revitalized into a very happening place to live for the under 30 crowd. The Standard Tap, Yards Brewing Company and of course The Piazza are some of the hot spots for this younger crowd in the evenings. As for dining, our favorites are The El Camino Real for Tex Mex, the Green Eggs Cafe for breakfast and Modomio for a casual Italian fare.
Luxury condominiums line the water front and spacious art deco lofts in Northern Liberties are the highlighted properties for young trendsetters.
Looking for a taste of suburbia while still living in Philadelphia? Old Philadelphia money can be seen throughout Chestnut Hill in the form of beautiful stone mansions around the Morris Arboretum, Chestnut Hill College and the Wissahickon Valley sections of town. The cobblestone section of Germantown Ave is where old meets new money and local residents enjoy locally sources American fare at Rollers Flying Fish, artesian breads at Baker Street Bread Company and a hand dipped cone at Bredenbeck’s Ice Cream Parlor.
