One of the newer buildings in the Art Museum Area/Fairmount neighborhood, The Tivoli was built in 2007 and combines a 10-story condo tower with a series of luxe townhouses built around a well-landscaped courtyard. The townhouses are either two- or three-bedroom homes and each has a private outdoor space in addition to courtyard access. The tower units range from one- to three-bedrooms with a very rare four-bedroom unit scattered in the mix. There are eight penthouses. Almost every unit has at least one parking space.
The interior design is very fresh with high ceilings, hardwood floors, great natural light thanks to large windows, gas fireplaces and quality kitchens and baths. Some Tivoli condos have custom interior designs.
Amenities includes a doorman, fitness center, garage parking and a business-meeting room with pool table. The Tivoli is pet friendly and there is a city park across the street, plus Fairmount Park is close by when a longer stroll is called for. Condo fees include water, sewer, hot water, cooking gas, fitness center, clubhouse and the usual exterior maintenance/trash removal. Tax abatements on some units likely will start expiring in 2017.
Of course, The Tivoli condos are near all of the city’s major, world-class museums, plus a fine array of restaurants. Target will open in the neighborhood in 2017. Whole Foods is nearby for grocery shopping.
