Donald Pearson, chairman of Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty, and Melodie Kahr, associate broker in the company’s Rittenhouse Square office, are pleased to announce that Gabriele Grosch of Lafayette Hill has joined the office from Prudential Fox Roach.
“Gabriele has a strong interest in architecture and preservation, first-hand experience in purchasing investment properties and a master’s degree in art history, so it’s no surprise that she has been an exceptional addition to Sotheby’s International Realty’s Philadelphia office,” said Pearson.
A resident of Lafayette Hill, Gabriele worked in publishing for Rizzoli in Manhattan and in Germany as a travel writer and editor before permanently moving to the United States in the 1990s. She is the author of a travel guide to Renaissance castles in northeastern Germany. She continues to pursue her interest in historical buildings through a membership in Philadelphia’s Preservation Alliance and an appreciation of the city’s many blocks of 18th- and 19th-century residences. She has a strong interest in Mid-Century architecture.
Gabriele also likes to work for investors since she has completed several classes with the Appraisal Institute to learn about opinion of value and has purchased and renovated several houses herself.
Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty is a privately owned real-estate firm with offices in New Hope, Pa., and Center City Philadelphia. Its 50 plus agents serve the southeastern Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, the Main Line, Bucks County and western New Jersey areas.
