On a perfect late June evening, approximately 75 guests came out to inaugurate the new Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty office in Philadelphia’s Chestnut Hill neighborhood. Located in the heart of the area’s commercial district at 8431 Germantown Avenue, the office is the company’s fourth, complementing others in Center City Philadelphia, on the Main Line in Bryn Mawr and in New Hope, Bucks County. Sotheby’s International Realty Chief Executive Officer Philip White, Jr., and Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty Chairman Donald Pearson, along with agents from the office, cut the ribbon at 6:00 p.m. on June 27.
“We look forward to serving Chestnut Hill and the surrounding areas. We have had agents active in this neighborhood and in Montgomery County for quite some time, but having the office strengthens our commitment to this market,” said Pearson. “I enjoy the village-like feel of Chestnut Hill and am very happy to join other businesses along Germantown Avenue.”
The renovation of the office space was overseen by Karen Regan, principle of Tallulah & Bird Interior Design and a licensed realtor with Kurfiss. It’s designed to welcome clients, accommodate closings and office meetings and serve as a functional work space for agents’ day-to-day needs. Colleen Rinear is the administrative assistant/conveyancer for the office. Reach the Chestnut Hill office at 215.298.9415.
