Carol Ogelsby and Alison Ogelsby Farrell, two of the Main Line’s top real-estate professionals, have joined Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty’s Bryn Mawr office, effective February 12, 2016. Carol is principal of the Ogelsby Group and has been a full-time realtor for more than 20 years, the top producer in her office for the past two years and a top 1% producer among all agents in her previous company. Since 2005, her daughter Alison has worked with her and has built her own client roster on the Main Line. Charlie Ogelsby is the third member of the team. He assists with property marketing, presentation and business and finance matters.
“Carol and Ali are well established in the Main Line community and bring tremendous knowledge and integrity to their business,” said Donald Pearson, chairman, Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty. “They clearly are energized and enthusiastic about real estate and are focused on providing the best service possible to their clients.”
Carol grew up in the Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne areas, graduated from Bryn Mawr College and with husband Charlie raised two sons along with Ali. She has earned many professional designations and accreditations during her real-estate career and is a member of the PREA100 which honors the top 100 agents nationally out of 60,000 candidates. Carol is a long-time supporter of her community, serving in leadership positions of such organizations as The Shipley School, Merion Cricket Club, Haverford School, Inglis House, Lankenau Hospital and others. Carol served for 10+ years as the elected Judge of Elections in her ward and was elected to serve on various committees for the Junior League of Philadelphia. She is a member of the Acorn Club and Merion Cricket Club.
Ali resides in Wayne with her husband and their two children. An outstanding athlete, she achieved numerous All-American and Hall of Fame honors in her time at The Shipley School and Roanoke College. Her motivation and drive to win complement her drive in her real-estate career. Ali serves on the board of the Merion Cricket Club and serves or has served on committees and boards of such organizations as Lankenau Hospital, Peter’s Place, helpusadopt.org and the Young Friends of the Philadelphia Antiques Show.
“Carol and Ali have refined their business strategy to respond to the shifts they’ve seen in the real-estate market,” said Stephanie Biello, associate broker and manager of the Kurfiss SIR Bryn Mawr office. “Whether it’s advising clients on preparing their homes for the market, using technology to market properties or helping buyers find the right neighborhood, they are ‘informed, savvy and responsive,’ a tag line they’ve used in their marketing and words they truly live by. Their business style parallels with Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty’s philosophy and marketing platform and we are thrilled they have joined our group.”
“We strive to exceed expectations and are committed to providing more than just a successful real-estate transaction,” says Carol Ogelsby. “We do more and it makes a difference, believing that every client is entitled to an experience that is as stress-free as possible, remarkably satisfying and hugely successful.”
