Long before she was a physician, Dr. Emely Karandy had a passion for real estate, initially earning her license in New York at age 19 during summer break from pre-med studies at Smith College. After graduating from Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's degree, Emely attended Osteopathic medical school in Chicago, making her way to Philadelphia for residency training. With a specialty in Plastic Surgery, Emely has a well-developed eye for taking something and making it the best it can be, while simultaneously listening to her patients to achieve their desired result.
Even with an active medical practice, Emely's interests in real estate and business had not diminished. She obtained her MBA from Eastern University and became part of The Lorna Isen Team at Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty, covering the Main Line from points East through to Chester and Delaware counties. Emely finds it very gratifying to help clients sort through their real-estate options and select a home and community where they will thrive.
Emely is the mother of four adult children and a longtime resident of the Main Line. As if practicing medicine and real estate isn’t enough, she plays violin in the Lower Merion Symphony Orchestra. She is also an enthusiastic gardener.
