With a bi-coastal upbringing between New York City and Los Angeles and family and friends who live throughout Europe and southeast Asia, Melissa Sullivan is a perfect fit for Sotheby’s International Realty and its network of 800+ offices. Currently she and her family reside in Bucks County, Pa., and New York City. Melissa’s career and family businesses have given her a wealth of experience in real estate and related endeavors. She looks forward to sharing the insights and expertise she has gained in all of these endeavors with her real-estate clients.
She oversaw marketing and photography for Sullivan Building and Design Group and Cider Press Woodworks, two family businesses with client bases extending well beyond their Bucks County roots. In addition to experience in the design/build world, Melissa has worked in property management and understands architecturally significant and historical properties, equestrian properties, new luxury-home construction, multi-family properties and even some commercial properties.
Melissa also brings first-hand experience in real-estate investment. She and her husband have purchased and renovated/restored three houses in five years. Maintaining a city apartment on the Lower East Side in Manhattan and a country property in Bucks County for many years, she is a strong resource for those considering a second home as an escape from the city or as a full-time residence.
A world traveler who is something of a nomad when her schedule and work allow, Melissa is happy walking or bicycling for hours through unique villages and city neighborhoods here and abroad, always seeking to discover and understand their architectural and cultural history.
“My international family and friends, along with my work and personal experiences, have fueled my passion for real estate on a global level,” says Melissa. “My interests in architecture and other cultures and my network of contacts elevates my real-estate practice.”
