        Designed by architect Kenneth Day and completed in 1938, this groundbreaking residence is one of the earliest examples of International Style residential design in Philadelphia. The stone floors in these two areas feature radiant heat. A library/office with fireplace and two powder rooms complete the first floor. The main stairwell handrail is a work of art in wrought iron and steel. Upstairs, be prepared for fantastic views from the master bedroom suite which also features a gas fireplace and French doors to a private balcony. The master suite also features a large dressing room with built-ins and a jetted tub, and a full bath with stall shower. Adjacent to the master suite is another bath and a small, sun-filled bedroom that would make a perfect nursery or office. The second floor goes on with three additional bedrooms, a hall bath, linen and utility closets and a laundry area. The third floor is presently set up as an office/study area but can easily become a bedroom. As a fun bonus, the basement is partially finished as recreation space with a big fireplace, full-size wet bar with all the trimmings, and powder room. Outside, a graceful circular driveway offers ample parking, plus there is a heated two-car garage and a garden building with great potential for other uses. A magnificent piece of ground with a meticulously maintained, architect-designed home that feels as fresh as the day it was built.
