VIRTUAL SERVICES

Assistance From a Distance

Virtual Consultations
If you are considering listing your home, let's start a conversation via phone, Facetime or video conference so that we can learn about your property. We can discover a lot about your home from public-records databases, but there's no substitute for hearing about improvements you've made, the parts of it you enjoy the most and what your goals are from the sale of your home. We can then share with you a marketing plan that allows as much or as little social distancing as required.

To arrange an initial consultation, contact one of our agents, or call the office closest to you. Our staff and agents are working remotely, but we are responding to calls and emails.

Virtual Staging
We are able to use various types of virtual staging, should it be necessary, to do everything from furnishing a room to more elaborate "remodels" involving changing paint, wallpaper, carpeting and flooring. This option works well when it is difficult to have contractors inside your home due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

To learn more about this process, please contact one of our agents, or call the office closest to you.

Virtual Tours & Showings
While most of our agents prefer to accompany showings, that has been impossible during the COVID-19 shutdown. When required, we may use Matterport 3D tours to take buyers through a home. See an array of properties presently using these tours.

We may also ask a seller to assist with a virtual showing. Your agent will coordinate the timing and technology. You get to be the tour guide and use your phone or tablet to take the buyer through your property, adding commentary along the way. Your agent can rehearse showings with you. And just as soon as we are able to, and our clients are comfortable, we will be happy to safely conduct in-person showings for buyers.

To learn more about this process, please contact one of our agents, or call the office closest to you.

Virtual Open Houses
We anticipate that it will be quite a long time before we can host traditional open houses. In their place, virtual open houses, tours that are set up and promoted for particular dates and times, can be effective ways of drawing attention to your property. As with virtual showings, we may have to call on you to be the host until agents in Pennsylvania are permitted to be at a client's home. Rest assured, we will work with you to make sure you are comfortable with the technology we are using to present your property.

To learn more about the virtual open house process, please contact one of our agents, or call the office closest to you.

Virtual Closings
Since Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf shut down in-person real-estate showings and related activities on March 18, we have successfully closed dozens of transactions with our clients' safety paramount. Whether conducted entirely electronically, or as "parking lot closings" with proper social distancing and protective measures, we are pleased to report that now and in the future, virtual closings are available to our clients.

To learn more about this process, please contact Tohickon Settlement Services. They will walk you through the steps of a virtual closing.
